When my wife and I were in Los Christianos in Tenerife, we walked into a bar called "The Miners Retreat". Lining the walls and bar were lots of commemorative plates showing pictures of mines similar to the plate on your web site, these depicted mines from all over the country. There was also some mining equipment and photographs.

The bar owner was an ex-miner and with his permission we took some digital photo's of some of them.
