Snailbeach Georges Shaft
Snailbeach is run totally by the Shropshire Mines Trust surface and underground.
It is supposedly the best 19th century metal mine site in Western Europe
as it still has nearly all original buildings etc.
We have a railway laid in part of Snailbeach and the visitors travel on a truck with seats.
