Raising Money For Macmillan Cancer Research, 2011 - The Inca Trail in Peru - Target: 3,500

Just Giving

Inka TrailIn 2011, I will be embarking on an amazing challenge on the Inca Trail in Peru in aid of Macmillan cancer research.

Currently I am concentrating on getting myself fit for this challenge with the help of my local gym and raising much needed funds for Macmillan cancer research.

I was born in Ilkeston and still live here 53 years later. I have committed myself to raise a minimum of £3500 and I am asking local businesses to support me in reaching this target.

In the past 5 years I have worked really hard to obtain a nursing diploma, which has been my dream for the past 35 years since leaving school. While doing my nurse training I witnessed evidence of all types of cancer related illnesses therefore this is my reason for wanting to help now.
