Hi
Impressed with your web-site and thought I'd drop you an email.

I'm involved with a coal mining musuem in Lithgow (Australia) and Joseph Cook is a well known figure in our local history.

Our web-site is: http://www.statemine.org.au

I'm told that Joseph Cook worked at the "Vale of Clwydd" Colliery, which was on the eastern side of Lithgow.

As far as I know, Joseph Cook didn't work at the "State Coal Mine", as it didn't open until 1921.

Best wishes,
John Oates

Thanks for pointing this out John, as you can see I have corrected it. The pictures you sent of "Vale of Clwydd" colliery are now on the first page.hanks again
