Daz "Shorpy", Bessie Mine, Alabama, 1910. Daz was a Tipple Greaser boy, claimed to be 14 year old.

Daz Beattie "Shorpy" again, with his mates, he eventually went underground as a miner but sadly was killed in a fall of roof aged 31 in January 1928 even more tragic is the fact that he was married, only the previous year his wife giving birth to their only child, a son, a few months after Shorpy's death. RIP Shorpy
