Subject: North Staffs Coalfield - I intend to publish

For a number of years now I have been putting together information on the collieries and the mining history of North Staffordshire with the intention at some stage to publish.

I would be pleased if you could advertise this fact on your web site with the hope that anyone out there with like interests could contact me. Particularly Ken Holland who is asking for information on Bevin Boys at Silverdale. Has he found any yet? Do you have an e-mail address for him? And Susan Bradley who is interested in the Diglake flooding. I may be able to help her.

I worked in the coal industry in the UK as a geologist for 27 years, most of this time in North Staffs. and my family has a long history in the coalfield.

With thanks
Lloyd Boardman
