Meet at 2pm outside the flower shop opposite the Post Office (Warrington Rd, Abram).
Suitable footwear essential.

Commemoration event starting at the site of the Maypole Colliery where a new memorial (kindly donated by Bloor Homes) will be unveiled, and walking accompanied by Tyldesley Brass Band, to the churchyard of St.John the Evangelist, Abram for a rededication of the Maypole Memorial. Parkside Male Voice choir will perform at the end of the service. Refreshments will be available in the church after the
rededication. |
