Hi........my name is Eddie Worthington and I am from County Durham, I worked in the pits for a short time when I left school, but I saw the light (get it) anyway the photo I have sent you was found behind another picture in a frame I bought at a car boot sale, it is Crook Rescue Team from County Durham but we have no pits left so I thought you might like it. |

Hi, this is a photo of my great grandfather, superintendant, Bartholomew Lawrence Wilson, it was taken at Ashby-De-La-Zouch or Ilkeston, probably late 19th or early twentieth century thought you might like it, could you confirm if I am correct with dates and places....Jim
I have enhanced the door of the Rescue vehicle and it has the
beginnings
of Leicestershire at the top Looking at the vehicle I would guess around 1920's |
